The constructionsite.org.uk provides free access to information, resources and study units related to Construction and the Built Environment and includes: Building Services, Civil Engineering, Housing, Property and Facilities Management, Conservation and Heritage.

The site contains a source of learning materials and information for use by tutors and learners studying Foundation, First, Honours and Post-Graduate Degrees, National Certificates/Diplomas, Higher National Certificates/Diplomas, 14-19 C&BE Diploma or for those studying for professional qualifications or examinations: Although it is also useful for those in industry as a point of reference for the multitude of resources and information required in the profession. 
 
For ease of access the resources are grouped on the site by type, these are:

  • Presentations (PowerPoint)
  • Reports & Publications
  • Other Useful Resources

These are accessed by clicking on the 'Resources' tab at the top of the page. To determine the benefits of the site and how you can use it, as well as other useful information; click on the appropriate page in the panel on the left.

The site also contains a free service to subscribers which enables them to advertise for staff working in the areas catered for by the constructionsite.  (See 'Partners / Job Vacancies')

Although access to the site and all resources is currently free you will need to register and log on if you wish to print or download any of the materials; though please be aware that all material is copyright and study units can only be used for your own use for educational purposes (See 'constructionsite & its Use' tab above).
